How It Works
- A member joins the designated hub voice channel.
- Percy creates a new voice channel in the same category, named according to your configured format.
- Percy moves the member into their new personal channel and grants them Manage Channel, Manage Roles, and Move Members permissions so they can control their own room.
- When the last member leaves, Percy automatically deletes the channel.
Percy needs the Manage Channels and Move Members permissions in the voice category (or server-wide) to create, configure, and delete temporary channels. If these are missing, Percy will post a warning in your server’s system channel or alert webhook.
Commands
Name Format Placeholders
When you run/temp set, you can supply a custom format string for the names of spawned channels. The following placeholders are available:
If you don’t provide a format, Percy defaults to
⏳ \| %name.
Setting Up Temp Channels
1
Create a hub voice channel
In your server’s voice category, create a new voice channel with an inviting name such as ➕ Join to Create or 🔊 New Room.
2
Register the hub with Percy
Run With a custom format:
/temp set and select the channel you just created. Optionally pass a format to control what spawned rooms are called.3
Test it
Join the hub channel yourself. Percy should move you into a freshly created voice channel within a second or two. Leave the channel and confirm it is deleted automatically.
