# Server Economy: Banking, Daily Rewards, and Activities

> Learn how Percy's per-server economy works — manage your wallet and bank, claim daily rewards, go fishing or hunting, and climb the leaderboard.

Percy's economy gives every member of your server a wallet they can earn, spend, save, and wager. Coins live on a per-server basis, so your balance in one server is completely separate from any other. There are two places your coins can sit: **cash** (your wallet, spendable anywhere) and the **bank** (safe storage that can't be lost to games or transfers until you withdraw it). Moving money between the two is instant and free.

## Wallet vs. Bank

| Location | What it's for                                 | Can be spent directly? |
| -------- | --------------------------------------------- | ---------------------- |
| **Cash** | Everyday spending, games, the shop, transfers | Yes |
| **Bank** | Safe long-term storage                        | No — withdraw first    |

Deposit cash into the bank to keep it safe, and withdraw when you need to spend. Games and the shop always draw from your **cash** balance, so make sure you've withdrawn before you play.

## Daily Streak Bonus

Claiming your daily reward once every 24 hours builds a **streak**. Each consecutive day adds a bonus on top of the base payout, rewarding members who show up regularly.

| Streak day | Payout              |
| ---------- | ------------------- |
| Day 1      | 250 coins           |
| Day 2      | 300 coins           |
| Day 3      | 350 coins           |
| Day 4      | 400 coins           |
| Day 5      | 450 coins           |
| Day 6      | 500 coins           |
| Day 7      | 550 coins           |
| Day 8+     | 600 coins (maximum) |

The streak bonus caps at 7 bonus steps, reached on day 8, so the highest possible daily payout is **600 coins**. If you miss a day and more than **48 hours** pass since your last claim, your streak resets to 1.

The table shows the defaults — admins can change the base daily payout with `/economy-config daily-base`, and every claim is also scaled by the server's payout multiplier and your [prestige bonus](/docs/economy/progression#prestige).

<Tip>
  Set a reminder to claim `/daily` at the same time each day. Your streak keeps growing as long as you claim within 48 hours of your previous claim — missing that window resets it to 1.
</Tip>

## Earning Activities

Beyond the daily reward, a set of earning commands pays out from weighted loot tables — common catches pay a little, rare ones pay a lot.

| Command   | Cooldown   | Description                                                                                                             |
| --------- | ---------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| `/work` | 1 hour | Work a shift at your job — pay depends on your rung on the [career ladder](/docs/economy/progression#jobs-and-careers) |
| `/fish` | 60 seconds | Cast a line for catches ranging from an old boot to a rare pearl |
| `/hunt` | 90 seconds | Head out for higher variance payouts — rabbits to trophy stags |
| `/beg`    | 45 seconds | Beg for spare change — usually a little, occasionally a windfall, sometimes nothing                                     |
| `/dig` | 90 seconds | Dig for buried valuables, from bottle caps to ancient relics |
| `/search` | 75 seconds | Pick one of three random locations to rummage through — riskier spots hold better loot but can injure you and cost cash |

Fishing and hunting are boosted by **loot\_boost** items from the shop — see the [Shop](/docs/economy/shop) page for details. Every activity above is also scaled by the server's payout multiplier and your prestige bonus, and most of them advance your [daily quests](/docs/economy/progression#daily-quests).

<Tip>
  `/search` shows you three locations to choose from with buttons. Safe spots like your couch never go wrong; the bank lobby pays far better — if security doesn't catch you first.
</Tip>

There's also `/rob @User` — attempt to steal a slice of another member's **cash**, with success odds based on your wealth versus theirs, and a fine if you fail. Admins can turn robbing off entirely with `/economy-config rob`, and members can protect themselves with a **rob shield** item from the [shop](/docs/economy/shop).

## Admin Commands

Server administrators (members with the **Administrator** permission) have access to commands that directly modify member balances.

| Command                                       | Description                                      |
| --------------------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------ |
| `/set-money @User <amount> <cash\|bank>`      | Set a specific member's cash or bank balance     |
| `/add-money-role @Role <amount> <cash\|bank>` | Add coins to every member who holds a given role |
| `/remove-money @User <amount> <cash\|bank>`   | Deduct coins from a specific member's balance    |

### Server Economy Settings

The `/economy-config` group tunes how the whole economy behaves on your server. Run `/economy-config` on its own to see the current settings.

| Command                                   | Description                                                                                |
| ----------------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| `/economy-config multiplier <0.1–10>` | Scale every payout — work, fishing, hunting, begging, digging, searching, and timed claims |
| `/economy-config daily-base <10–100,000>` | Set the base `/daily` payout before streak bonuses                                         |
| `/economy-config max-bet <amount>`        | Cap stakes across all casino games (`0` removes the cap)                                   |
| `/economy-config rob <on\|off>`           | Allow or forbid members robbing each other's cash                                          |

The same settings are editable from the **Economy** tab of the [web dashboard](https://percy.klappstuhl.me/dashboard).

<Note>
  Economy data is stored per-server. A member's balance in your server is not shared with or affected by any other server.
